cranberry margarita

Happy thirsty Thursday!
The weather in east Tennessee is warming up, the dogwoods are blooming, and the pollen is plentiful...summer is right around the corner. Which means margaritas. Lots and lots of margaritas. We love making our own margarita mix. It's easy. It's healthier than the bottled mixes. And it is delicious. We make a batch, leave it in the fridge for a week or two (if it lasts that long), and just pull it out and add tequila when it's happy hour. I added a bit of cranberry juice to this version for an extra punch of sour. So with all the antioxidants from the cranberry juice, I'm going to go ahead and call this healthy. I think you should too.

  2. There is a restaurant in Pittsburgh that serves Cranberry Margaritas near Thanksgiving. I love them because they aren't overly sweet. I pinned this to try it at home. They also have the gobblerito at that time. It is a giant burrito stuffed with Thanksgiving foods and covered in gravy. Thank you for sharing!
