We have three dogs...three dogs that go through a lot of food and a LOT of treats. Once in a while I like to save a little dough (and feel like suzy homemaker) and make their treats from scratch. This recipe is a fan favorite in our house. Flaxseed is great for canine coats, and almond milk is a good alternative to dairy if your dog has a sensitive stomach. And if your fur babies are anything like ours, peanut butter always creates a drool inducing frenzy. (I'm pretty sure our dogs would eat an old tire if peanut butter was on, in, or remotely close to it.) These treats are knoxville holt dog approved!
{Can we have some now?}
